4th of July Style Inspiration

With the 4th being just two days away (where has summer gone already?!?), I thought I would share with you a few looks to help jump start anyone still needing outfit inspo for Monday! I tried to put together looks for several different occasions and different personal styles. Let me know in the comments which look is your favorite! Make-up and Hair    For my makeup I did my everyday makeup look and added a fun, bright red lipstick to make the looks more patriotic! For my hair I used my 25mm NuMe curling wand and lightly brushed through the curls to get a softer curl/ defined wave.     Look #1: Simple and Trendy    This outfit is super simple to re-create! I made sure to keep it simple with staples that most people already have in their closet.  What you need to get the look:   A white t-shirt Denim shorts (even better if they are high-waisted!) A red bandana (Walmart sells them for $1) White Converse or sneakers Fun...

The Perfect Spring Dress

Spring is officially here and I am so happy! I'm loving the warmer weather that we have been having and all of the green that has appeared! The trees fully in bloom are beyond gorgeous and I could not be happier! Spring is such a bright and happy time of year and I feel this outfit is perfectly incorporates that feeling!   As you can tell by my Instagram the last few weeks,  I have been LOVING pastel pink this spring! It instantly makes any outfit look like it was made for spring! I also love the feminine pop of color it adds to an outfit.     How gorgeous are these tree's!?! The three weeks in the spring where everything is in bloom is my absolute favorite time of the year! This dress is SO perfect! The cut of it is super flattering and the fabric is nice and thick! Since the colors of the dress are so neutral I will definitely be playing around with different ways to change up the look! I already have thought out several different ways t...

Trip to Texas Tulips

Spring is here and what better way to celebrate than to make a trip to a tulip farm! Tulip’s are one of my favorite flowers, so visiting the rows of tulip’s put me in my happy place! The day we went was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, so lots of people had the same idea as us to head on out there. Even though it was crowed, the tulips still looked amazing and didn’t look picked over at all! I thought I would share with you all today some pictures from my trip to Texas Tulips, as well as some details about how I wore my overalls! I was literally in my happy place here! The tulip's were beautiful and the weather was absolutely perfect! This hat from Target is the cutest thing ever! It's super versitile and I wore it a lot while I was down in Texas! To make it even better, the ribbon makes a little bow on the side!  These overalls are a favortie of mine this spring and I love that they have made a comeback! Growing up I used to wear them all the time! These black overalls are...

Tips for Transitioning to a Spring Wardrobe

I don’t know about you, but I like to get the most out of my clothes. This means that I have to find ways to wear some pieces in several seasons. Since it can sometimes be tricky to modify winter pieces for spring, so I thought I would share a few tips on how to transition into spring with ease! A light jean jacket is a go-to piece for me in the spring! Even when it’s paired with darker colors, it automatically lightens up the look. If you don’t have a light wash jean jacket, adding light colored sweaters has the same effect. Another tip for putting together a transitional outfit is to pair it with lighter accessories. By adding a gold statement necklace and a lace purse to this look I was able to subtly lighten up the look. Extra tip: If you want to go a step further, painting your nails a white or pastel color adds a fun, brighter look as well! This tip does not apply to this look, ...
