I LOVE taking a trip to the apple orchard each fall. Between the pretty scenery, fresh fruit, time with family, and yummy deserts, a trip to the apple orchard is a must for me each autumn. This year I had been hoping to go on a cool morning that I would be able to bundle up in a cute sweater and a plaid blanket scarf. However, the weather didn't quite cooperate with my wishes and I ended up going on a sunny 80 degree day. Since I didn't feel like sweating to death, I went with a cooler outfit that is perfect for the warm mid-west weather we've been having lately. This top from Francesca's is literally the cutest thing ever. I have been wearing it on repeat ever since I picked it up a few weeks ago. All summer I had been looking for an off-the-shoulder top that was flattering and after three months of searching I came across this one! I love how the ruffled peplum style creates a waistline. I am so excited to find ways to transition this top into fall with burgundy

Happy Labor Day! Where has the summer gone?! It seems like summer started a week ago, but now I am already back to school! This summer was a busy one for me but one of the best so far. It was full of time spent with friends and family, vacations in Wisconsin, a mission trip in Minneapolis, and working. As a way to wrap up the summer, I thought I would do one last summer post. This outfit was one of my go-to's this summer. It is light and breezy and perfect for a hot summer day. I love the colors of this outfit. The coral shorts and the white top scream summer vacation to me. It is so easy to throw on, and it instantly is an effortless summer look. How gorgeous is this patio?!
