Three Ways to Wear Plaid for the Holidays

With Christmas just days away, the holiday season is in full swing! I LOVE anything and everything to do with Christmas. I also love any excuse to dress festive! Plaid shirts are a winter staple that are perfect to dress up or down. Today I have put together three different ways to style the perfect holiday shirt.

I love, love, love this plaid shirt. It has just the right amount of red to make it feel festive, while also still being perfectly fine to wear any other time of the year. I love pairing it with navy blue corduroys and riding boots for a laid-back look perfect for holiday events. It's a super simple and easy combination, while still being adorable!

I love tying a bow in my hair for an extra pop of red. This ribbon helps pull the look together while giving it a fun touch!

This Forever 21 Necklace has been a great purchase. It goes with everything and is a great addition if you are looking to dress up an outfit.

All I did to change up this look was throw a simple white cable-knit sweater over the plaid. I made sure to pull out the collars and roll up the cuffs over the sweater to make sure the plaid popped through.

Throwing a sweater over a basic shirt is a great way to spice up an outfit. It's also the perfect way to add some extra warmth if you're going to be walking around outside.

I kept this look super simple by just adding a vest. It's a great way to add an extra layer. Paired with a red Starbucks drink, you'll be looking as festive as ever!

This red vest is perfect for any occasion. It's a great staple piece that I get so much use out of. In this outfit I love how the red vest brings out the color in the shirt. The gold accents on the pockets are a perfect way to add a touch of class to any look.

Francesca's is a dangerous store for me to go in to. Over spring break I went into Francesca's to just try on a possible graduation dress and ended up with a dress, skirt, and top- oops! Trip to Texas Tulips

Spring is here and what better way to celebrate than to make a trip to a tulip farm! Tulip’s are one of my favorite flowers, so visiting the rows of tulip’s put me in my happy place! The day we went was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, so lots of people had the same idea as us to head on out there.
