One Skirt: Four Ways

Francesca's is a dangerous store for me to go in to. Over spring break I went into Francesca's to just try on a possible graduation dress and ended up with a dress, skirt, and top- oops! Needless to say, I'm kind of obsessed with this skirt- it's so pretty and feminine! I love the colors and how easy it is to style. In today's post I will be sharing four ways to style this skirt.

I am just obsessed with this skirt! The floral detailing is so pretty and feminine. Honestly I felt like it was a little out of my traditional comfort zone, but I decided to go for it! This tank is one of the tops I walked out of Francesca's with. The pink matched the colors in the skirt too perfectly to pass up!

I purchased this lace top from LOFT last spring and I have found SO many different ways to style it! It pairs so nicely with this skirt and you can wear it tucked in or out-whatever best fits your preference. I personally like to tuck my tops in to give the outfit more shape. As you can see from my Instagram, I LOVE this sun hat from Target. It's perfect for a day at the beach!

Fun fact: the morning we shot this look it was 40 degrees out in Florida. It was our last full day in Florida, so my mom and I decided to just go for it. The week we were there was so chilly. Needless to say, my feet were FROZEN by the time we went inside!

My favorite way to add some flare to an outfit is by knotting my tee. It's such a fun and easy way to accentuate your waist while doing something other than just tucking the top in. Even though it was freezing while shooting this look, I was having so much fun twirling around! This skirt is so versatile and perfect for weddings, graduation events, or just everyday wear.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I'd love to hear what you think about the changes I've made to my blog and any thoughts or ideas you have about posts you would like to see in the future!

A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Ah, fall is finally here and couldn't be happier about it! I love the cooler weather, pretty trees, and fun fall activities. I have to admit though that my favorite aspect of fall is that fact that I get to pull out all of my cozy sweaters and scarves. The fall months are prime time for playing around with layering due to the unpredictable tempatures. My easy go-to outfit for fall consists of a sweater, vest, blanket scarf, jeans, and riding boots. The evening my mom and I went to the pumpkin farm was the definition of a perfect fall evening; 50 degrees, a cool breeze, and sunny. I've linked all of the pieces down below if you are interested in getting the look! This outfit was perfect for finding the perfect pumpkin! It kept me plenty warm while still allowed for me to be able to easily move around! All of the pieces from this outfit are staples of mine. They all can be mixed and matched with so many other outfits to create a totally different look!  I love blan...

Post Vacation Blues

I hate coming home from vacation and getting back into the routine of my everyday life. Even though Florida was quite chilly, I loved every minute of it! I absolutely LOVE the ocean, beach, and palm trees, so I was not to excited to be coming back to bare and brown Iowa. However, while in Florida I had the opportunity to shoot several new looks for future blog posts and I'm sure some people are probably getting tired of all the beach pictures, so I'll work on slowing that down! Today's outfit is perfect for the warmer weather the Midwest will soon get, and the weather the rest of the country already seems to have! It's a super simple and laid back look that looks so cute all together, I love it! Like usual, I have listed the links to the different parts of my outfit down below. Thanks for stopping over!
