Spring is officially here and I am so happy! I'm loving the warmer weather that we have been having and all of the green that has appeared! The trees fully in bloom are beyond gorgeous and I could not be happier! Spring is such a bright and happy time of year and I feel this outfit is perfectly incorporates that feeling!   As you can tell by my Instagram the last few weeks,  I have been LOVING pastel pink this spring! Spring is here and what better way to celebrate than to make a trip to a tulip farm! Tulip’s are one of my favorite flowers, so visiting the rows of tulip’s put me in my happy place! The day we went was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, so lots of people had the same idea as us to head on out there. Even though it was crowed, the tulips still looked amazing and didn’t look picked over at all! I thought I would share with you all today some pictures from my trip to Texas Tulips, as well as some details about how I wore my overalls! I was literally in my happy place here! I don’t know about you, but I like to get the most out of my clothes. This means that I have to find ways to wear some pieces in several seasons. Since it can sometimes be tricky to modify winter pieces for spring, so I thought I would share a few tips on how to transition into spring with ease! A light jean jacket is a go-to piece for me in the spring! Even when it’s paired with darker colors, it automatically lightens up the look. If you don’t have a light wash jean jacket, adding light colored sweaters has the same effect. Another tip for putting together a transitional outfit is to pair it with lighter accessories. By adding a gold statement necklace and a lace purse to this look I was able to subtly lighten up the look.
